Born Good , Born Evil
My favorite comic book is currently deepening the debate about "born good" versus "born evil", which I find very interesting and look forward to seeing published each week. The theory of "born good" and the theory of "born evil", which holds that human nature is "good" and that human nature is "evil," are said to derive from the conflict between Mencius (theory of sexual goodness) and Genshi (theory of sexual evil), a Chinese Confucian scholar of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period. And when I get together with my fellow executives and we talk about management, there is an occasional debate about whether we think in terms of "born good" or "born evil". I have always maintained that I run my business on the basis of the "good" side of the argument.
I do not think it is a good idea to manage my company by doubting the members, and I do not feel that I can honestly rejoice even if the business performance improves as a result.Rather, I believe that it is better to trust the members of my company and entrust them with their work, which will lead to better business results, and will also lead to my own mental health. However, I believe that this discussion is too deep to be written down here, and I would like to hear more about the various ideas of those who are running the business. If you see this article, and if we have a chance to meet, let's talk about "born good" and "born evil" in management!
